Recipe: Sticky Oven-Baked Chicken Drumsticks
Ingredients (serves 4)
• 8 chicken drumsticks
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 tablespoons honey
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 cloves garlic, crushed
• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, honey, soy sauce, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken drumsticks and toss until fully coated.
Place the drumsticks on a lined baking tray and roast for thirty-five to forty minutes, turning halfway through, until golden, sticky, and cooked through.
Let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Perfect for weeknight dinners or barbecues — sweet, savoury, and full of flavour with a beautifully caramelised finish.
