Recipe: Sticky Honey Garlic Chicken Wings
Ingredients (serves 4)
• 1kg chicken wings
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 3 tablespoons honey
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 cloves garlic, crushed
• 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
• 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Pat the wings dry, then toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them out on a lined baking tray and roast for twenty-five minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crisp.
Meanwhile, mix the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a small pan. Heat gently for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Brush the hot wings with the honey garlic glaze, return to the oven for five more minutes, then toss to coat.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately — sweet, sticky, and irresistibly moreish, perfect for sharing with family and friends.
